YouTube TV is a great way to watch all your favourite shows and movies without having to worry about overspending or wasting time on commercials. However, if you’ve decided that it’s time for you to cancel your subscription then don’t worry – the process is quite simple. In this blog post, we’ll walk you through how to cancel YouTube TV membership and provide some helpful tips in case you have any questions along the way!
1. Head to Your Account Settings
The first step in cancelling your YouTube TV subscription is to head into your account settings. This can be done by clicking on the profile button in the top right corner of the screen, which will take you directly to your personal settings page where you can control various aspects of your YouTube experience including billing information and active memberships.
2. Locate Your Membership Settings
Once inside your account settings page look for a tab labelled “Membership & Billing” – click on it and you should now be able to access all of the information regarding your active subscription (e.g., amount due per month, payment dates). Also, make sure that there are no boxes checked off underneath “Automatic Renewal” – this will ensure that no surprise bills show up at the end of each month!
3. Select “Cancel Subscription”
Finally, locate the “Cancel Subscription” button at the bottom of the page and select it – this will prompt an additional warning window asking if you are sure that won’t end our current membership so make sure before pressing “Yes” as once it is done, there is not going back! After confirming this action with one last click our membership should now officially be cancelled!
4 Enjoy!
And just like that, we are now free from any more obligations or commitments with our past streaming service provider – meaning that we can finally say goodbye to those pesky monthly bills and enjoy plenty more freedom when budgeting our entertainment expenses from here on out! So go ahead and explore other options available – Netflix, Hulu et al – and start streaming away with even more confidence knowing that we won’t be locked in by expensive contracts ever again!
